SwRI is a nonprofit contract R&D organization with more than 70 years of experience with particles and controlled release. SwRI uses a variety of technologies to develop custom nano- and microencapsulated products and achieve performance requirements such as controlled release, taste/color masking, oxidation, and thermal stability, as well as increased shelf-life. New capabilities include temperature spray drying, microfluidics, scalable monodisperse emulsions, and inert gas fluid bed agglomeration/coating.
