CII is a privately held, employee-owned specialty ingredients manufacturer established in 1990 by Robert Hatch to research, develop and market unique, new food ingredients. The Company holds multiple worldwide product and process patents. Dynamic Particulates
Our company produces food particulates that add flavor, texture and color to baked goods and cereals, as well as pre-blended mixes to create added flavor and swirl effects in bread products. Called Flav-R-Bites®, the particles are specially formulated for specific client needs, are offered in a variety of sizes, flavors, colors, textures, and are produced using CII’s patented product and process technology. In addition to baked goods and cereals, other food applications include ice cream, nutritional foods, streusel and toppings.
Powerful Inclusions
Nutri-Bites® and Nutri-Crisps®, products consist of expanded pieces with special nutritional qualities such as extra levels of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. Most Nutri-Bites are used in high nutrition food bars, granola, and snacks. 2022 we will start manufacturing clusters, granolas and have panning capabilities.
Versatile Innovations
Nutri-Bites stand up to heat, moisture and even extended exposure to the hot-moist processing environments particularly common to the baking and snack industry. Better yet, our food particulates are customizable and can be developed, with your partnership, in our Innovations lab. CII produces Texturized Plant Proteins made with Pea, ChickPea, Wheat, Soy and Fava varieties.
Products You Can Trust
CII products are sold with non-trans fat formulations and are available in GMO, Non-GMO, gluten-free, and organic formulations. The products are all certified for food with the majority certified Kosher/Parve and the balance certified Kosher or produced under the Islamic certification, Halal. Additionally, CII has achieved an “A” rating from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Food Safety.
